Exploring Rural Education

Go behind the scenes and into the classroom with student teacher Molly Wells and learn about her passion for education.

Wells is part of the Fellows for Inclusive Excellence program, which is made possible by a $3 million gift that aims to bring more Carolina-prepared teachers and school counselors into North Carolina’s rural communities. The fellows program provides Master of Arts in Teaching and school counseling students in the UNC School of Education with funding and additional supports to earn their degrees and intern in either Person or Chatham county schools.
